PART 1 THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF ENDOVENOUS EFFECT OF COOL CYCLIC MICROWAVE ANTENNA TO RABBIT JUGULAR VEINObjective To study the mechanism of endovenous cool cyclic microwave antenna(CCMA) to rabbit jugular vein and estimate the feasibility of CCMA obliteration to veinMethods 52 New Zealand rabbits were divided into 6 groups randomly.The CCMA inserted in the jugular vein was pulled out with the different powers(0w,25w and 30w) and the different velocities(5cm/min and 10cm/min). The jugular vein was pressed for two weeks and examined by the color Doppler at the different times of 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks postoperatively. The burn of skin was observed at the first day after operation.The specimens were obtained at 8 weeks postoperatively and investigated the morphological changes by HE, EF staining and SEM.Results The ratio of occlusion examined by color Doppler in 25w×5cm/min, 30w×10cm/min and 30w×5cm/min group were 33.3%,83.3% and 100% respectively at 8 weeks postoperatively.
