Object: To observe these changes caused by massage in some urinary indexes by which can reflect urinary function of kidney through doing manipulations on urinary reflection area and other areas of health subjects quantitatively under the same watery burden condition. To study the relativity between the urinary reflection area in foot zonation which was accepted at present and the different effect on massage in urinary reflection area and other parts, and to explore the mechanism. This research will offer theory support for scientific study on foot reflect orientation and the "internal and external correspondence " rule between organs and body surface. And also, this study will provide reference for a suit of methodology to explore the relativity between foot reflection area and ZangFu organs.Method: Chose 8 male and 8 female health subjects and randomly divided them into two groups. Each group has 8 subjects. The first group subjects were given manipulation on urinary reflection (experimental part) at the beginning and secondary massage on other areas (contrast part). While subjects in the other group were given the contrary manipulations. The time for each manipulation is 30 minutes. The experimental operation order the subjects were observed in imported period, blank time and massage period each for one day. Some indexes such as routine uronoscopy, specific gravity of urine, Urine PH, urine electrolyte (Na+, K+), trioxypurine, urea nitrogen, urinary creatinine and amount of urine were tested in the following time: the end of imported time and elution period, 3 hours and 24 hours after blank time and massage observing. All those above results were compared after statistic management. Results: The manipulation on urinary reflection didn' t lead positive results in routine uronoscopy. All the computation indexes were changed in physiological range. The specific gravity of urine, urine Na+, uric acid, urea nitrogen and urinary creatinine were increased significantly compared with blank time while the urine K+ decreased obviously. The amount of urine increased evidently after 3 hours when the manipulation began. The peak value occurred at the second hour by which manifested as lagging phenomenon. The urine volume in whole day didn' t changed significantly.
