Objective :To investigate the optimal compatibility of Rhubarb, Radix Angelicae , Radix Aucklandiae on effect of antineoplastic in mice transplanted with the tumor cell S180 .Method : We divided the three drugs into 7 groups by means of uniform design according to the clinical dose of these drugs .Then the Kunming mice of experimental groups were given peros(PO) of different prescriptions getting from the uniform design with the dose of 8.75g/kg for 8 days . After that the experimental mice were transplanted with the tumor cell S180 and gotten killed after 14 days of oral administration. The inhibiting rate of tumor growth were observed.Result : The inhibitory rate of group 6 and group 7 on S180 sarcoma were 52.5% and 39.2 respectively .There was significant difference between the control group and experimental group(P<0.05).Conclusion : The result reflects that only Rhubarb might have effect in inhibiting the growth of S180 tumor. The anti-tumor effect may be related to its immune effect , however further insight into it is still needed .
