Houttuynia Injection And Ceftriaxone Associated With The Antibacterial Effect When The Dose-effect Relationship

Integrated traditional and western medicine is the most commonly used therapy in clinic of traditional Chinese medicine. Broad application of combined traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine is for better safety, efficacy and economy. But most studies on combined therapy are simple clinical effect observation of traditional Chinese medicine plus western medicine, seldom concern proper combined therapy, as proper dosage of combined medicines, proper interval of medication. Current clinical studies have proved that the combined therapy of Yuxingcao Zhusheye plus Ceftriaxone Sodium had synergistic action. Under the precondition of keeping the same effect, if the dosage of Ceftriaxone Sodiuma is cut down, of which the side effect and the bacterial drug resistance will be reduced, this combined therapy will be more significant in clinic.Former reports on the dual therapy of Yuxingcao Zhusheye plus Ceftriaxone Sodium have only selected the simple addition of the 2 medicines in dosage, without study of the proper dosage. This paper has observed the clinical effect of the combined therapy through regulating the dosage of Ceftriaxone Sodiuma with the set dosage of Yuxingcao Zhusheye. It has also observed whether the combined therapy had synergistic action, and has tried to find the most effective combined therapy of the 2 medicines, to reach the aim of safe, effective and economical administration of the integrated traditional and western medicine.In the preliminary test, investigation of methodology and feasibility was carried out. 1. Perfused streptococci pneumoniae through tracheal intubation to set the model of rabbit acute pneumonia, pharmacodynamical study could be started 4 hours later; 2. Examined the parameters 4, 6, 30, 54 and 76 hours later after the control group models were established; 3. Took the body tempreture, white blood cell count, bacterial culture of the lung homogenate, blood concentration of Ceftriaxone Sodium, general ocular measurement of the sample and histopathological observation as the experiment indexes; 4.
