Objective: The study on the anticancer mechanism of BTW abstract Method: (1) study the anticancer action of BTW abstract in mice sarcoma S₁₈₀, Lewis, H₂₂, U₁₄. (2) study the anticancer action of BTW abstract inhuman SCLC and colon cancer HT29 on nude mice. (3)study the effect of BTW abstract on mice life prolongation rate on EACmice cancer model. (4)study the cancer cell vigor and configuration etc. through cultivate colon cancer HT29 cancer cell in vitro experiments.Results: (1) BTW abstract can inhibit proliferation in human SCLC NCI-H446 and colon cancer HT29 on cancer replanted mice and cancer vaccinal nude mice. (2) BTW abstract can prolong life time of EAC mice. (3) BTW abstract can effect cell cycle and configuration of colon cancer HT29 in vitro experiments.Conclusion: The anticancer mechanisms of BTW abstract are likely below:(1)effect cancer cell cycle directly and inhibit cancer cell growth. (2)inhibit cancer cell multiplication vigor and growth. (3)kill and wound cancer cell , inhibit cancer cell growth. (4) induce cancer cell wither and inhibit cancer cell growth. Perhaps Bai tou weng abstract synthesize several mechanisms to exert anticancer action.
