Methods Human umbilicus vein endothelial cells were cultured out of body and the release of NO ,ET-1 and activation of NOS under basic condition and harmful condition caused by TNF-α were observed respectively. Results ①Adiponectin didn`t change the NO, total NOS(p>0.05), but inhibit activation of iNOS(p<0.01) and increase activation of eNOS(p<0.01) dependent on PI-3K pathway and inhibit release of ET-1 independent on PI-3K pathway (p>0.05)under the basic condition②Adiponectin may inhibit TNF-α-induced activation of iNOS and release of NO and ET-1(p<0.01) dependent on NF-kB pathway. Adiponectin reverse TNF- α -induced inhibition of eNOS(p<0.01) independent on NF-kB pathway. Conclusion adiponectin can maintain normal endothelial function and protect endothelium against damage from TNF-α by effecting NOS,NO and ET-1... | Keywords/Search Tags: | adiponectin, nitric oxide, endothelin, tumor necrosis factor, endothelium, vascular | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
