Atrial fibrillation is one of the most common arrhythmia in clinic. Atrial fibrillation can be caused by many heart diseases and un-heart diseases. It is not lethal arrhythmia, but it has a high happening-rate, obvious clinic symptoms and can worsen patients' heart-function, because of the above factors, atrial fibrillation is always the focal point and hot spot for clinic studying.Since the mid-1990s, discoveries and findings in cardioelectric-physiology, molecular-biology etc. have resulted in considerable changes. Our understandings in the occurring mechanism, maintaining mechanism, pathologic changes etc. of atrial fibrillation also have make great progress. At present, it is regarded that the main pathologic change of atrial fibrillation is fibrosis of atrial tissues. The main causes of pathophysiological mechanisms of atrial fibrillation are the existing of exceptional pacing focal, abnormal electric-activity of atrail cells, abnormal changes in atrial ion-channels. At present, treatments for atrial fibrillation include druggery treatment and non-druggery treatment. The strategy of druggery treatment have been turned into ventricle rhythm controlling from transforming into sinus rhythm, and at the same time, we have also attached importance to anti-prothrombin treatment. The hot spot in non-druggery treatment focus on radiofrequency ablation to focal atrial fibrillation, at the same time,...
