Objective: To study the serum lipid,Lp(a)level and their correlation in different aged patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction(AMI) in this district. Methods: 108 patients with AMI were devided into three groups. Young-aged group(aged 30-44,29cases),Middle-aged group (aged 45-59, 37 cases),aged group(aged 60-,42cases).The total serum cholesterol(TC), triglyceride (TG),high-density lipoproteins cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoproteins cholesterol(LDL-C),and lipoproein-a Lp(a) level of three groups were measured. The correlation between the mean serum Lp(a) and the mean serum TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C were analysized and the results were done with statistic analysis. Results: TC,LDL-C,HDL-C, Lp(a) level of three groups were no significant difference(p>0.05).Serum TG level in young-aged group was significantly higher than in aged group(p<0.05).Between serum Lp(a) and serum TC,LDL-C had correlations. Conclusion: The abnormal serum lipid, higher Lp(a) level were two important factors of dangerous in the development of CHD and AMI.It is important for us to prevent and control them ,especially in young-aged patients must more to lower the TG level and to raise the HDL-C level.
