Shanxi Province, The Maternal Mortality Factor Epidemiological Studies

Objectiv: To investigate death of women in pregnance,And to analysis the majoy prognosis of the death of the women in pregnance in shanxi province .To provide the scientific identification for preventing methods. Methods: The study contained two aspects.The first aspect is historical cohort study. To collect the date of 40 death spots in shanxi in 1996-2003,and to investigate the situation of the maternal mortality ratio by trend chi-square test. Among these ,to analysis the death incidence of women in pregnence in different economical arreas in the same years and in different years in same arreas by trend chi-square test. The second aspect is to investigating the prognosis of death ,we design the questionaire use case-control study and select cases by 1:4 (patients/longors=1:4)to anaglysis 34 factors one by one with univariate logistic.and to anaglysis those that have meaning in statistize with multivariate conditional logistic regression. Results: there are a trend decending of the maternal mortality ratio in 1996-2003 in shanxi there are obviously decending in 1996-2003 in countries and all the shanxi provice(x2 are 7.44 ,6.78,P<0.05)); there are not the same in cities.Univariatee logistic regression showed that education degree, the education degree of her husband,income,pregnence and larbor histry, the pregnency outside the plan, anaemia of pregnancy,labor in hospital ,cleaning delivery,make a card through pregnancy,accept healthly education,the time of check out in pregnence,the time when she take the first check in pregnence,postnatal health care are statistical (p<0.01) . By multivariate lgistic regression,income, the pregnency outside the plan, anaemia of pregnancy are dangerous factors ,OR values are 4.399(95%CI for OR0.807-10.416), 12.183(95%CI for OR 3.242-45.283), 3.935(95%CI for OR 1.080-14.335) , cleaning delivery, accept healthly education, postnatal health care are prevent factors, OR values are 0.015(95%CI for OR 0.001-0.229),0.15(95%CI for OR0.033-0.747)), 0.131(95%CI for OR 10.045-0.377). Conclusion: There are obviously decending of maternal mortality ratio in Shanxi in 1996-2003.And there are decengingin the first and second ecnomical areas,however,there are not the same in areas else .income, the pregnency outside the plan,if anaemia of pregnancy are dangerous factors, cleaning delivery, accept healthly education, postnatal health care are prevent factors.
