primary carcinoma of the liver is one of the frequent malignant tumors, The incidence rate of hepatoma is increasingly step up in epidemiologic study,the hepatoma has become one of the common disease which is invasioning the health of our country. On account of onste delitescence, majority patients have reached intermediate stage or advanced stage when they falled ill,so they missed the opportunity of operation. Alleviative treatment become their first selection. Both interventional therapy and traditional Chinese medicine therapy belong to Alleviative treatment,both of them can prolong patient's life span,elevate patient's Quality of Life,if both of them combine together,there will be have considerable practical importance.The purpose of this study is to find rule of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes prior treatment and post-treatment of interventional therapy,it is helpful for clinic. This thesis are composed by literature review articles and clinical research. The literature review articles has summed up applications and progressions of traditional Chinese medicine therapy in interventional therapy of hepatoma. interventional therapy is one of non-radical cure,it has important effect in lightening tumor load, in prevention recurrence and in elevating survival rate.If interventional therapy and traditional Chinese medicine therapy apply together, adverse effect and adverse effect will decrease significant, patient's Quality of Life and life span will extend significant. Except for this , the article propose reseach direction about how to consociate interventional therapy and traditional Chinese medicine therapy better. The part of clinical research adopt retrospective and prospective clinical research modus, research objects are 31 hepatoma patients which are collect random, it researched the rule of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes prior treatment and post-treatment of interventional therapy.Research result indicated: although there are any change in traditional Chinese medicine syndromes prior treatment and post-treatment of interventional therapy , stagnation of liver blood stasis, spleen deficiency and Qi-stagnation zheng are hepatoma's fundamental pathogenesis, disharmony between liver and spleen is key feature of hepatoma's pathogenesis, it transfixes hepatoma all the while. So it is important to combine differentiation of symptoms and signs with differential diagnosis of disease for prior treatment and post-treatment of interventional therapy.it is requisite to attach importance to both liver and spleen. The investigation deem integration of traditional Chinese medicine and interventional therapy, integration of differentiation of symptoms and signs and differential diagnosis of disease are beneficial for clinic, they are worthy to be studied deeply.
