Heat And Dampness, Blood Sanjie The Theoretical Treatment Of Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, And Clinical Research

Objective:The aims of this investigation were to discuss the essential pathogenic & pathological mechanism of CPID from the point view of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM);to observe the curative effects of clearing away heat- removing damp & prmoting the blood circulation-resolving mass; to explain the method's effect mechanism by cancer antigen 125,sex hormone and immunology.Methods: Clinical evaluations were made on 60 patients suffering from CPID who were randomly divided into two groups averagely. Treatment group were given pelvic inflammatory granule on the principle of clearing away heat- removing damp & prmoting the blood circulation-resolving mass. Control group were cured with Fu Le granule. All patients were evaluated at syndrome integrals, physical sign integrals and integrated integrals, examined by pelvic ultrasonic inspection before and after 2 months' treatment. And treatment group were determine the concentration of CA125, estrogen, PRL, NK, Ts in serum.Results: The cured and apparent rate of treatment group on integrated therapeutic effects was 90%,on syndrome effects was 90%,on physical sign effects was 76.67%;while control group was63.33%,73.33% and 60% accordingly. There was significant statistical difference on integrated therapeutic effects between two groups, while others was not. The integrated integrals, syndrome integrals and physical sign integrals were remarkably reduced in both groups. The reduction was more apparent in the treatment group than in the control group,And there was significant statistical difference on the integrated integrals and syndrome integrals. The syndrome and physical sign were obviously improved in two groups, But there was no significant statistical difference on them. There was no significant statistical difference among the patients with different ages, courses of disease and the degree of an illness. Ultrasonic examination results of uterus boundary slur was reformed better in treatment group, and was significant statistical difference. While the results of adnexa's incrassation and pelvic's accumulated liquid were no significant statistical difference. The concentration of CA125, PRL and NK in serum were distinctly descended after treatment, And had significant statistical difference. While the concentration of estrogen and Ts in serum had no change. There were no badness reaction and noxious side effect in both groups.Conclusions: Damp,heat and stasis were the main pathogeneses of CPID. Accordingly, the therapeutic methods were clearing away heat- removing damp & prmoting the blood circulation-resolving mass. The prescription treated upon macrocosm and more targets,showed positive effects on CPID. The therapeutic mechanisms might be adjust the immunityfunction, improve the body's safeguard, promote the absorption of inflammation, alleviate the injury of CPID.
