Asthma Apply Spirit Cataplasm Acupoint Application Experimental Study Of The Prevention And Treatment Of Pediatric Asthma

Objective: To investigate the molecular mechanism of prevention of ChuanFuLingBaBuJi on allergic airway inflamation .Method: The expression lever of interleukir-4 mRNA and interferon-ymRNA in peripheral blood cells(PBMC) in different groups of rats were examined semi-quantitatively by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). The effects of acupoint application on incubation period of asthma and lung pathological changes in different groups of rats were observed.Result: The expression lever of interleukir-4 mRNA in peripheral blood cells(PBMC) in the model group were higher than that in the normal group(P<0.01),but the expression lever of interleukir-4 mRNA in peripheral blood cells(PBMC) from groups treated with ChuanFuLingBaBuJi were less than that from the model group(P<0.01). The expression lever of interferon-ymRNA in peripheral blood cells(PBMC) has no significant difference in the model group and in the group treated with ChuanFuLingBaBuJi(P>0.05). incubation period of nodding breath was lowed in groups treated with ChuanFuLingBaBuJi (P<0.01).Inflammatory exudation and eosinophil number were decreased in groups treated with ChuanFuLingBaBuJi .(P<0.05).Conclusion: Acupoint application of ChuanFuLingBaBuJi show its effects on anti-airway allergic inflammation by marked inhibition of the expression lever of interleukir-4 mRNA and promotion of the balance between interleukir-4 and interferon-y;and inhibition of eosinophilic aggregation and activation in the airway. The effects of acupoint application of ChuanFuLingBaBuJi were also related to prolongation of incubation period and decrease of frequency of asthma attack, and the reduction of inflammatory exudation and inflammation in lung tissue.
