Objective: To study the effectiveness of lidocaine plus danshen injection in the treatment of cervical spondylosis vertebral arteriopathy(CSA).Methods: 126 cases of CSA were randomly divided into two groups; control group (n=38) receiving massage for 5 days, once every day; observation group (n=88) subject to intravenous injection of lidocaine plus danshen injection once every day for 5 days besides massage. Results: The total effective rate was 90 % in the observation group and 74% in the control group respectively (P<00.1). After treatment, the mean peak flow velocity and the end diastolic peak flow velocity of the basilar artery were significantly improved in the observation group as compared with those in the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion: Integrated traditional and western medicine could effectively treat CSA. |
