Patients in treatment group were given scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture with acupoints selected by syndrome differentiation, combined with Madopar orally. Patients in control group were only given Madopar orally. After three courses of treatment, scores of Webster scale for all the patients were collected and effective rate was analyzed. Results: The effective rate in treatment group was 90% and that in control group was 73. 3%. Scores of Webster scale in treatment group and control group after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment (P < 0.05). After treatment, significant differences were found in scores of two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Curative effect of acupuncture combined with western medicine to treat Parkinson disease is better than that of western medicine only. It may relieve symptoms significantly and prolong development of the disease, which provides an effective method for Parkinson disease.
