Huangdi Neijing is the most earliest medical classical works in stock in China. It is an origin of the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the technique in preventing disease of TCM. After studying Huangdi Neijing deeply, it provides important evidence to the treatment of modern clinical disease from theory to methods. Being taked the Chronic prostatitis as an example, this article approaches a role which produced by Huangdi Neijing theory to the promotion of modern clinical therapeutic effect.The Chronic Prostatitis ,be called for short CP, is an common and frequently-occurring disease in male patients. The main appearances are paruria, urinary frequency and anuresis, urethra scorching hot, urodynia on the beginning or the end of urination, urodynia radiate to the glans penis, perineal position and groin, fall and expand in testes, white secretion flow outward urethral orifice after urination, and influence the sexual function in different degree. It is also one of the chief factors in affecting the quality of patient's sex life. The cause of this disease is complicated and there is no good method in modern medicine. But treatment of TCM has the holism in mind and has a superiority in synthetic action, because the treatment based on syndrome differentiation. Being concluded the origin from Huangdi Neijing, this disease belongs to a syndrome of lower-jiao. The sanjiao theory in Huangdi Neijing being made a point in lower-jiao acting as a gutter. Qi activity comes into being the essence of life and body fluids. Take unblocked transmission as normal functional state of six Fu-organs. This article is guided by Huangdi Neijing's theory. It explores the new theory and method on preventing and curing CP.This article is separated into two parts. One part is a study on the theory. Firstly, it analyzes the pathogenesis and location of urination's abnormal disease in Huangdi Neijing, such as difficulty in micturition, concentrated urine, frequent urination, unsmooth urination, urine change, incontinence of urine , etc. It concluded a result that the location of urine disease concerned with CP is mainly in lower-jiao. Then, after being added up the syndromes concerned with CP in Huangdi Neijing, it discovers that the cause of disease is mainly about affliction from dampness-heat and the location of disease is in lower-jiao. The occurrence of CP is connected with lower-jiao most closely. At last, on the basis of the general principles of treatment which arelower-jiao acting as a gutter and take unblocked transmission as normal functional state of six Fu-organs, it concluded the concrete methods on treating CP which are removing heat and dampness, activating blood circulation to remove blood stasis, reinforcing the kidney to strengthen yang, nourishing the kidney and liver, ventilating lung qi.The other part is clinical analysis. In the process of studying, combined with the author's understanding, it analyzed the ancient and modern medical records and reports. It also validated the better effect on the treating method of take unblocked transmission as normal functional state of six Fu-organs in clinical. It elevated the clinical therapeutic effect by analyzing the theory of Huangdi Neijing once again.
