In TCM, it is thought that climacterium syndrome is caused by the dysfunction of the five zang-organs. This clinic research is aimed at treating climacterium syndrome with regulating five zang-organs to make the coordination of yin-yang and qi-xue, the normal function of five zang-organs, brain, and uterus by needling the back shu points of five zang-organs plus Baihui(DU 20)and Sishencong(EX-HNl). And the result is satisfying.Through clinical observation of the changes of the kupperman score and the E2, FSH and LH in serum, we found that this treatment can obviously lower down the score of the patients' kupperman score and alleviates the patients' complaint. What' s more, this treatment can also raise the E2 and lower down the FSH, Lh in the serum. In contrast with the control group of taking Fu-fuchun capsule, there is no obvious difference. So we think this treatment has a valuable effect in clinic. But this treatment has some merits which is superior to the control group. They are less side effect, stable effect and cheap, etc. So this treatment is worth of applying widely in clinic.
