Bronchial asthma (shortened form asthma) is a common disease of respiratory system. Itsmechanism is so complicated that until now we cannot make it absolutely clear. It is an commonidea for the scholar all over the world that Bronchial asthma is a repeated-paroxysmal chronicdisease of respiratory system, which is a inflammation process led by the mast and the oxyphiliccell with cytokines. While the main reason in TCM theory is latent phlegm inside the lung, andsome inducement leads the phlegm block the windpipe and impairs the purifying and descendingfunction of lung, asthma is broken out by spastic windpipe. This kind of disease is hard to becured. The treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion has good clinic effect on the asthma. So wecome into our research from this point in order to find the relative peculiarity in curative effect onthe asthma of Feishu. The asthma model of cavy caused by medication is taken as subject, thevalue of gap from beginning to asthma and IL-2 are taken as items, and we want to find thedifference on asthma between the ephedrine and the acupoint of Feishu and Chize. 19 cavies are divided into four groups randomly: Feishu group, Chize group, ephedrine groupand normal group. Feishu group and Chize group receive the treatment of acupuncture, whileephedrine group receive the treatment of nebulization. The results are as below: 1. Paired-T test of the gap from beginning to asthma inside the groups: the second gap ishigher significantly than the first gap in Feishu group, Chize group and ephedrine group (P<0.05). 2. ANOVA Test between groups: there is no significant difference between four groups of thetwo gaps (P>0.05). 3. The ratio between two gaps: compared with normal group, Feishu group and Chize groupare higher significantly (P<0.05); while compared with ephedrine group, are not so (P>0.05). 4. IL-2: there is no significant difference between groups (P>0.05). But the value of Feishugroup is much lower than the other three groups, while the other three groups are nearly same. So conclusions can be drawn as below: 1. Feishu and Chize can relieve the symptoms of asthma effectively. 2. For the relief effect of the asthma symptoms, there are not significant difference betweenFeishu Chize and ephedrine. 3. For the mechanism of how to relieve asthma, it is likely to differentiate Feishu from Chizeand ephedrine. 4.It is reasonable that the relative acupoint peculiarity exists between Feishu and Chize .
