Observation Of Clinical Efficacy. The Fritillaria Gong Ying Tang, Wind-heat Treatment Fanfei Type Of Cough

OBJECTIVETo explore the clinical effect of Beimu Gongying decoction(BGD) on thedisease of cough caused by extraneous wind-hot pathogen(EWHP).METHODSOne hundred and eighty patients suffered from EWHP cough wererandomly divided into two groups: treatment group (n=90, treated withBGD orally) and control group (n=90, treated with Sangjiu decoctionorally). All patients were given decoction respectively one dose a day for7 days. Before and after the treatment, conditions of their cough, sputum,angina, fever, stool and urine, tongue and pulse, density of white bloodcell, side-effects were observed and scored repectively.RESULTSImprovement of patients' cough, sputum, angina, fever, character of stooland pulse was more remarkable in the treatment group than that in thecontrol group (P<0.05, or 0.01) , while that of urine character, tongueappearance, density of white blood cell and side-effects was notremarkable between two groups (P>0.05 ) .CONCLUSIONBGD has better effect than Sangjiu decoction in the treatment of EWHPcough.
