This thesis reported investigations of the chemical constituents from the leaves of Poacynum Baill in Apocynaceae-Poacynum hendersonii. The Poacynum Baill leaves for the experiment were collected from The Akesu area of Xinjiang Province, and species was identified by the direct pharmacist Sulaman Halik In Xinjiang Provincial Institute For Drug Control.The 2.2Kg leaves were refluxed with 80 % ethanol for 3 times, 6 hours every time. The extract solution was concentrated to the extract 1.19Kg. The extract was mixed by water, transferred into the 3L separating funnel and extracted with petroleum ether, chloroform, ether acetate and normal butanol in turns. The extracts were obtained 84g, 4g, 57g and 219g separately.The petroleum ether fraction was mixed with silica gel for chromography, dried in the air, grinded, packed with silica gel for chromography, eluted with petroleum ether-ether acetate(1: 0â†'0: 1) . 500ml every fraction. TLC tested eluted solution, united the same fractions and obtained four monomer( LS1-LS4) . LSl(104mg) is light yellow powder, LS2(73mg) and LS3(62mg) is white solid, LS4(34mg) is colorless needle crystal (see table 1).The ether acetate fraction was mixed with silica gel for chromography, dried in the air, grinded, packed with silica gel for chromography, eluted with chloroform-methanol ( 1: 0â†' 0:1). 500ml every fraction. TLC tested eluted solution, united the same fractions and obtained three monomer (LY3-LY5) . LY3(126mg) is deep yellow crystal, LY4 (2.5g) is yellow crystal and LY5 (209mg) is deep yellow crystal (see table 1).The normal butanol fraction was mixed with silica gel for chromography, dried in the air, grinded, packed with silica gel for chromography, eluted with chloroform -methanol ( 1: 0â†' 0: 1 ) . 500ml every fraction. TLC tested eluted solution, united the same fractions and obtained four monomer ( LZ1-LZ6-2) . LZl(155mg) is white powder, LZ3(307mg) is white powder, LZ6-l(818mg) and LZ6-2(3g) is white crystal (see table 1).Compounds of 1-11 were isolated from three extractionportions of petroleum ether, ether acetate and normal butanolby routine extraction and chromatography with silica gel. Allthe structures of eleven compounds were elucidated on thebasis of spectral evidence, including MS, IR, ID- and 2D-NMR, some chemical methods, the determination of physicalconstant. They are Lupenyl palmitate (C46H80O2) ( â…  ), palmitic acid(C16H32O2) (â…¡), Hexacosanoic acid (C26H52O2) (â…¢), β-sitosterol(C29H50O) (â…£), quercetin ( C15H10O7) (â…¤), quercetin-3-O- β-D-glucopyranoside (C21H20O12) (â…¥), quercetin-3-O- β -D-glucosyl-β -D-glucopyranoside ( C27H30O17 ) ( â…¦ ) , â–³'-prenyl-3-O-β-D-glucopyranosides (C11H20O6) (â…§), Syringaresinol-β-D-glucopyranoside(C34H46O18)(â…¨), 2-Aminosaccharose(C12H23O10N)(â…©)and Saccharose(C12H22O11) (â…ª). â…¡, â…¢, â…¦,â…§, â…¨, â…© and â…ª et al sevencompounds were new in the plant.
