Objective To analyse the factors of postoperative complications of Lumbar disc herniation(LDH). Methods Clinical symptoms, image characteristics and operative methods in 32 cases with postoperative complication on Lumbar disc herniation were analyzed. 10 cases were done through fenestration, 8 cases were done through semi-laminectomy, 9 cases were done through total- laminectomy, and 5 cases were done through total- laminectomy and plant of bone and fixation on original operation. The result have been analyzed by using nonparametric test. The soft is SPSS 11.0. Results Kruskal-Wallis (P>0.05) test have been used. There was no significant difference between four groups in makeup of age and range of pathological changes and symptoms and signs. However, Kruskal-Wallis (P<0.05) test have been used, significant difference was seen at conglutination of scar and abnormal activity degree and total decompression degree. Conclusion The total-laminectomy discetomy bore the frequently encountered complication such as instability of lumbar, dura compression and muscular weakness. The fenestration lumbar discectomy bore non-total decompression degree. Semi- laminectomy at midst. Total-laminectomy and plant of bone and fixation had better outcome and less complications. There are own advantage on every method of operation . Perfect operative procedures for LDH resection must be based on detailed analysis of every factors and appropriate method of operation must be selected before operation. Dexterity in operation technique and thorough anatomical knowledge are the key points for successful LDH surgery.
