Review: This thesis has reviewed the understanding of the etiology, pathology and treatment method of Bile Reflux Gastritis (BRG) in Traditional Chinese Medicine both in ancient time and in present age. This paper sums up the present research situation of modern medical science about the etiology and pathogenesis of BRG, which is the foundation of clinical research of this project.Clinical research: 60 cases of BRG patients with liver and stomach incompatibility were divided into two groups randomly, Herbal medicine group and control group. The whole duration of treatment was 8 weeks. The results indicated that the total effective rate of the Herbal medicine group was 86.7%,and there was not significant different from control group s83.3 %(P > 0.05). Li Qi He Wei syrup could mitigate the symptoms of stomachache, gastric stuffiness and discomfort, belching and acid regurgitation, there was significant difference between before and after treatment (P < 0.01-P < 0.001).Discussion: According to clinical inspection and analysis, syndrome of stagnation of Qi between the liver and stomach was the most common in these complicate presentations. It affects the stomach and influences the liver. The treatment principle is soothing the liver, regulating Qi and harmonizing the stomach. Both thetheoretic and clinical study indicated that the potential mechanism of Li Qi He Wei syrup in treating BRG classified as liver and stomach Qi stagnation syndrome is related to promoting gastric empty rate, protecting gastric mucous membrane and other aspects. |
