Ulcerative colitis is a kind of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), It has been popular among Europeans and Americans and is increasing in Asian in recent years, so , it has been noticed by more and more people. 5-Aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA) and its prodrougs are often used to treat and prevent inflammatory bowel diseases , Sulfasalazine is the first 5-Aminosalicylic acid prodrug. But it has poisonal and side effect. To search 5-aminosalicylic acid prodrug with better activity and less side effects. New 5-aminosalicylic acid prodrugs were designed and synthesized.Methods: By the reactions of nitration, haogenation, acylation, condensation, a series of 5-aminosalicylic acid derivatives were synthesized from salicylic acid and paracetamol and glycine methyl ester by the ester bond.Results: The target-compound's chemical structure were determined by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and elemental analysis.Conclusion : The new compounds can be synthesized successfully by the method...
