Study Of The Chemical Composition Of The Compound Rhythm Thailand

The complex prescription of XLT is a modern pharmaceutical which is composed with Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Radix Paeoniae Rubra and other Chinese drugs. It can cure arrhythmia and the therapeutic effectiveness is superior to chemical drugs and Chinese patent medicine. On the other hand, its side-effect is less than other analogous chemical medicine.The paper was about research of chemical constituents for further purpose to look into material basis of pharmacotical activities in XLT initially. Dividing the aqueous extract into three fractions of CH2Cl2, Et2O & n-BuOH, used chromatography method of silica dry column and preparative thin layer. Four compounds of alkaloids were isolated from CH2Cl2 fraction( I ~IIL VII), four diterpenic quinones from Et2O fraction (IV~V,VIIII~IX) and a glucoside of monoterpenoid from n-BuOH fraction(VI). By analysis of physics-chemistry properties and datas from spectrum tech. Six including compounds were identified( I -VI)as Sinocimenine, Disinocimedinine, Tetrahydropalmaine, Tanshinone IIA, Tanshinone I and Paeoniflorin, they were all found in XLT first time. The structuer of other three compounds(VII~IX) need further identification.
