To observe the effect of long-term swimming on serum leptin.hypothalamus leptin and hypothalamus NPY and discuss the possible mechanism of decrease of body-fat induced by exercise,40 SD rats were divided into 4 groups randomly.After 8-week-swimming,we measured the levels of serum leptin.hypothalamus leptin and hypothalamus NPY.Result:The concentrations of serum leptin,hypothalamus leptin and hypothalamus NPY all have no significant changes after swirnming.Conclusion:Swim have no direct effects on the median mechanism of leptin.
