| Objective: To probe into the action mechanism of FuFangSiNiSan (FFSNS) on fatty liver by observing the effect of FFSNS on rat fatty liver from histomorphology and biochemistry aspects.Method: Forty rats were randomized into model group, normal group, Dongbaogantai (DBGT) group and FFSNS group. The rat model of fatty liver induced by high fat diet and alcohol were treated with FFSNS and DBGT respectively to investigate the change of the body weight, liver index, liver lipid, SOD and pathologic histology.Result: From the histomophorlogy aspect, FFSNS can improve the structure of liver, reduce hepatocellular steatosis. As to biochemistry, the content of TG, CHOL, and FFA in liver in model group were significantly higher than normal group, while SOD is lower than normal group. Compared with model group, the liver index and lipid content of liver were obviously reduced, and SOD in liver was increased in therapeutic group. (P<0. 01)Conclusion: The results show that FFSNS have protective effect on fatty liver, and the protection of this prescription on fatty liver may be associated with reducing the lipid deposit in liver and increasing liver function. |
