Objective:Observations on protective of Huoxue huayu decoction on function of endothelial cells in acute mycocardial ischemic of coronary heart disease. Methods:The rabbits were randomly divided into five groups ,the animal model of acute myocardial isehemia was reproduced in anesthetited rabbit by ligating the left coronary artery at the middle of anterior descending branch. The serum NO, NOS and plasma ET were determined by colorimetry and radioimmunoassecy respectively. Results:As the time of occulusion extended , the serum NO, NOS gradually decreased and the plasma level of ET elecated. Significantly, the decoction for HXHY can increase the level of NO, NOS and decrease the level of ET. Conelusion: The decoction for HXHY can incease the level of NO, NOS and reduce the level of ET in acute myocardial ischemia of rabbits, impel the balance of NO/ET, perfect myocardial ischemia, protect endothelial cells ,thus prevent and cure coronary heart disease.
