Using Data Mining Methods The Analytical Higashigaki Stomach Side

Li Dongyuan,a famous doctor in Jin Dynasty,founded the spleen and stomach theory. The theory is important on the developing of the theory of TCM. He had made many formulas that were widely used in clinic. The methods tended to the clinical observation and pharmacodynamics studying for single formula. But the systemic analysis of the formulas is scarce.Li's formulas embodied his main academic thoughts and his specific component regularities. To deal with these great deal of formulas,we adopted thelatest modern information technique-data mining to analyze it completely andsystemically. Our studying is based on TCM theory of combination formula. Through the studying,we want to find Li's own regularity of the combination of the formulas. According to the researching task,we choose methods of frequent item set,correspondence analysis and cluster analysis. In this article,what are discussed include introduction of data mining,the pretreatment of data,analysis and value of the results. The results show that the combination of Li's formulas accords with his thinking of spleen and stomach theory. But a few of the results don't accord with usually use of Chinese Herbs. We think it is necessary to studying further.
