The Spleen Xiaopi Extract On The Spleen Animals Gastric Motility And Secretion Of Experimental Research

Objective:To observe the effects of Jian Pi Xiao Pi Jin.Gao on stomach motion and secretion of animals with spleen deficiency. Methods:Animal model of spleen deficiency was set up by using Dahuang;the function of gastric emptying liquid was assayed by means of chromometry;the function of gastric emptying solid was observed by weighing remains in mouse stomach;motilin in plasma was measured by radioimmunoassay while the function of stomach secretion was assayed by means of titration. Results:(1) Fewer gastric emptying liquid and solid as well as motilin in plasma and stomach secretion of animals with spleen deficiency were found. (2) The rate of residual liquid in the stomach was significantly lower in the group of Jian Pi Xiao Pi Jin Gao (P<0.01). (3) The rate of residual solid in the stomach was lower in the middle dosage group of Jian Pi Xiao Pi Jin Gao (P<0.05),but significantly lower in the high dosage group(P<0.01). (4) Motilin in plasma was higher in the middle dosage group of Jian Pi Xiao Pi Jin Gao (P<0.05),but significantly higher in the high dosage group (P<0.01). (5) The total acidity and the output of total acid became higher in the middle dosage group of Jian Pi Xiao Pi Jin Gao (P<0.05) whereas the amount of gastric juice in the same group had no statistic significance (P>0.05). The amount of gastric juice,the total acidity and the output of total acid became significantly higher in the high dosage group (PO.01). Conclusion:Jian Pi Xiao Pi Jin Gao could not only improve the function of gastric emptying liquid and solid,but also increase motilin in plasma and stimulate gastric secretion of animals with spleen deficiency.
