This topic screened the best technique of fermentation of Chinese nut-gall through orthogonal experiment and it has been said that this technique is stable and controllable. After the reseach of the condition, the optimum technique of hydrolysis was found. Then the content mensuration of Chinese gallotannin and Gallic acid in the original product, fermentative product and hydrolyzing product were carried out. The author has preliminarily studied the primary pharmacological actions on anti-inflammation, antibiosis, relieving cough and expelling Phlegm. The results are following. The content of Chinese gallotannin in original product is higher than the others, and it is more effective for the treatment of inflammation and cough. The content of Gallic acid in fermentative or hydrolyzing product is high, so it is said that they will be fit for antibiosis and expelling Phlegm. While the hydrolyzing product is not better than the fermentative product in controlling inflammation or relieving cough, it has the correspondent action on antibiosis and expelling Phlegm with the fermentative product.
