It is a allergic disease,according to different phene, divided into pure hematuria ,pure proteinuria and both existing .Professor Guo thinks that LGN is named lumbago hematuria essence qi dessending and so on in the field of TCM and that the cause of LGN is the deficiency of the vital qi the invasion of the exopathogen irregular emotion and defatigation , but the first is Ben while the rest is Biao.It is the key of leading to LGN to inadequately govern blood and refined nutritious substance because of the deficiency of both the kindy and spleen and to force the blood to go astray because of substantive or asthenic heat. Therefore ,the location of LGN is the spleen and kindey, and it is in relation to the lung and liver, which often shows the deficiency mixed with excess. For its treatment ,professor Guo observes the determination of treatment based on differentiation of symptoms and signs and adopts the method of combinating reinforcement with elimination .According to different syndromes , the hematuria type of LGN is classified into four types:such as deficiency of the spleen qi and kindey-qi, deficiency of both qi and yin , deficiency of the kindey-yin and accumulation of damp-heat in the body, which is respectivelydesigned by these methods of strengthening the spleen and invigorating the vetal energy supplement qi and nourishing cooling the blood to arrest bleeding hemostasis by removing the blood stasis and cooling heat and the blood .
