Reflux esophagitis is common and multi-occurred disease clinically, we use supplement qi and normalize the function of the stomach, reduce phlegm and send down the ascending reverse flow of qi as basic principle of treatment to treat reflux esophagitis with Xuan Fu Dai Zhe Tang(XFDZT) which is classical prescription in Shang Han Lun. In this study, the acid reflux esophagitis model of rats were made, and treated with XFDZT, then we observed XFDZT's effecting, changing situations of plasma Motilin, serum- Gastrin, pH in lower esophagus and esophagus mucosa permeability to reveal its mechanism of the therapeutic action.The results showed that XFDZT can improve the pathologica situation of esophagus mucosa of reflux esophagitis model of rats. It's effective mechanisms probably include: After treating reflux esophagitis model of rats: It can heighten plasma Motilin, increase serum Gastrin, thus accelerate stomach emptying, increase pH in lower esophagus, dephlogisticate and improve permeability on esophagus mucosa, make reflux esophagitis recover finally.This study verified that XFDZT has regulating function to plasma Motilin and serum Gastrin, it can increase pH in lower esophagus and improve permeability on esophagus mucosa, and provided a basic treating method for treating reflux esophagitis in clinic.
