Yiqihuoxue Acute Treatment Of Ischemic Stroke Clinical Research

Ischemic stroke is a common disease, its incidence and mutilation is high .It seriously endangers the health of people .So it is an important task in medical study to reduce the mutilation of ischemic stroke.This study is to find the law of the clinical differentiation of syndromes of ischemic stroke and observe the therapeutic effectiveness of treating ischemic stroke with the therapy of supplementing qi and promoteing blood circulation , and investigate the mechanism.Study on the law of Differentiation of Syndromes.The study of differentiation of syndromes in 204 patients showed that the proportion of patients with qi deficiency and blood stagnation was higher than others,which was about 46.08ï¼….At the same time, it showed that the common past illness, accompanying disease and the complication were hypertension, coronary heart disease, hyperlipidemia, diabetes.Clinical observation:60 patients with qi deficiency and blood stagnation type were randomly divided into two groups. There were 40 cases in the treatment group , who were treated with YiQi HuoXue XiaoSuan Tang (Supplementing Qi and promoteing Blood Circulation to remove thrombus).There were 20 cases in the control group ,who were treated with low molecular dextran. The assessment standard of the nervous functional defect degree (ASNFD),which was formulated at the 2nd national cerebrovascular disease meeting, was used before and after treatment. The results showed the total effective rate was 87.5ï¼… in the treatment group and it was greater than 55ï¼… in the control group (p<0.05).There was an obviously difference between the two groups in the nervous functional defect degree (NFD) and in the improvement of main clinical symptoms and signs (p<0.05-p<0.01).Experimental observation:The observation the effects of supplementing qi and promoteing blood circulation on lipometabolism, hemorrheology, hematodynamic and micro-circulation and the comparison with low molecular dextran showed that YiQi HuoXue XiaoSuan Tang could reduce serum cholesterol, triglyceride, lower density lipoproten and increase high density lipoproten. At the same time ,it could reduce blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and improve micro-circulation. There were no significant changes in the control group.Conclusion:The method of supplementing qi and promoteing blood circulation could not only improve NFD , protect the injury induced by cerebral ischemia, but also improve the pathological basis of ischemic stroke. It may be related with the following factors: (1)It improved blood viscosity, reduced the aggregation of erythrocyte, increased the deformability of erythrocyte, improved the hyperviscosity state, promoted the open of micrangium ,protected the endotheliocyte of micrangium, confronted oxide free radical, relieved encephaledema.(2)It improved blood-lipid metabolism, blood theology and micro-circulation, improved the oxygen-supply and blood-supply of brain tissue, regulated the imbalance, getting the effects of preventing and treating atherosclerosis. It reflected the advantage of the principle of diagnosis and treatment based on the differentiation of syndromes in TCM. As an effective treatment method for ischemic stroke, supplementing qi and promoteing blood circulation worth further investigating and studying.
