English AbstractThe Effect of Electroacupuncture at Neiguan Point on Nitric OxideSynthase and Acetylcholinesterase Expression in the Spinal Ganglia ofRabbits Model of Acute Myocardial IschemiaNciguan Point(PC6) is a point of the Pericardium channel of HandJuey in. Acupuncture Neiguan Point is an effective method to treat cardiac pain. palpitation it was proved by experimental data and clinical cases. There must be some connective links between Neiguan point and the heart. Ten or more types of sensory projection neurons have been identified in the Spinal dorsal horn since the 1980s. All these novel populations of neurons arc characterized by their branched or collateral axons projecting to two or more distinct target nuclei, including somatosensory and viscerosensory nuclei. Some of these neurons receive afferent inputs including somatic and visceral sensory inputs, in turn, from their central targets and from the periphery via dichotomized primary afferents. Some peripheral sensory inputs may first converge on and be processed by dorsal root ganglion neurons. These findings seem to challenge the traditional concept of single projections and innervation of sensory neurons and to be involved in the mechanisms underlying somatovisceral interaction and related clinical disorders. Some people have proved that nitric oxide(NO) and acetylcholine(Ach) existence in the spinal ganglia(SG). So this experiment's objective was to observe the expression of nitric oxide synthase(NOS) and acetylcholinesterase(AchE) in the SG of rabbits by four groups: Control group; Electroacupuncture at Nciguan point group; Acute myocardial ischemia group(AMI); AMI + Electroacupuncture at Neiguan point group. The experimental data could be used to analysethe function of No~ Ach and the spinal ganglia in the mechanism of clcctroacupuncture at Neiguan point to AMIThirty-two rabbits were randomly allocated to the four groups. Electroacupuncture group of rabbits were electoacupunctured for 30 minutes, AMI group of rabbits were ligated left ventricular branch of coronary artery to set up the models of AMI for 30 minutes. Recorded the electrocardiogram(ECG) to ensure the AMI models were set up. AMI + Electroacupuncturv at Neiguan point group of rabbits were electroacupuncture immediately after the AMI models were set up. The nicotinamide adenosine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH-d) and Karnovsky-roots histochemical technique were used to observe the expression of NOS and AchE in the spinal ganglia (SG). The Olympus microscope was used to observe the nerve cells of SG, calculating the figures of heavily staining NOS positive and AchE positive neurons, surveying the diameter of the positive neurons.There were blue granules in the NOS positive neuron cytoplasm and brown granules in the AchE positive neuron cytoplasm, the double staining neuron cytoplasm were filled with blue and brown granules. Selecting fifty sections of SG by randomly, there were 3.7% single staining NOS positive neurons and 4.8% single staining AchE positive neurons, and 86.2% double staining neurons in average section of the spinal ganglia. The positive nerve cells were divided into two types referring to some documents: positive neurons and heavily staining positive cells. The ratio of heavily staining positive neurons was the figures of heavily staining positive neurons to the figures of positive neurons. And then the expression of NOS and AchE in the SG could be analysed by the ratio of heavily staining positive neurons. The diameters of NOS positive neurons and heavily staining NOS positive neurons were various from 20 to 55pm and from 20 to 40 pim; and the diameters of4AchE positive neurons and the heavily staining AchE positive neurons were various from 20 to 68 pm and from 20 to 56 pm.The NOS and AchE expression in the spinal ganglia were significantly enhanced by electroacupuncture at the Neiguan Point.
