| 1 Objective: There is apparent relationship between essential hypertension and insulin resistance. The purpose of this paper was to investigate the effect factors of insulin resistance(JR), and the relationship between it and tumor necrosis factor- Q (TNF- a ) in essential hypertensive patients(EH). 2 ?Methods: 63 EH patients, and 32 controls were investigated. Body mass index(BMJ), serum TNF- a, fasting glucose(GLU), serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C), high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C), uric acid(UA) and insulin(INS)levels were measured, and insulin sensitivity determined by insulin sensitive index(ISI), namely 1/(GLUX iNS). 3 -?Results: (1)Compared with control, in EH group, 151 was lower[(-4.26 ? 0.63)vs(-3.45?.51), pO.05). 4 Conclusion: (1) The data suggest that IR and higher TNF- a level were seen, and that DIS may aggravate abnormality of plasm lipid and serum UA metabolism in patients with hypertension. (2) TN7F- Q independently correlated with JR. |
