Dense Bone Particles On Osteoblast-like Cell Proliferation And Igf-i Activity Of Experimental Research

This experiment, which takes the TCM theory "the kidney dominating the bone "as its basis, used Chinese herb serum pharmacology to establish an in-vitro culture of osteohlast-like cells(UMR1O6) ,and employed the tetrazolium salt method and the enzyme-lined immuno sorbent assay method to examine and measure the effect of a serum containing the kidney-nourishing Chinese medicine M1Gu granules on the increase of osteoblast-like cells and the activity of insulin -like growth factor T The preventative effect of the kidney-noun shing Chinese medicine towards kidney-osteoporosis-insufficiency was also explained. The results shoved that the number of osteoblast-like cells and the activity of the insulin-like growth factor I for the MiGu granules serum group was markedly higher than the normal group (PKO.05) there was no marked difference between the effect of the Mi Gu granules serum group and the Gu Shu Kang granules serum group in the activity of the insulin-like growth factor I (P>0. 05) there was a marked difference between Mi Gu granules serum group and Gu Shu Kang granules serum group in the effect of a medicine containing serum 10%,15% in increasing osteoblast-like cells (P<0.05) that both the Mi Gu granules serum group and Go Shu Kang granules serum group promoted the in-vitro increase in osteohlast-like cells and the activity of the insulin-like growth factor I and moreover exhibited dosage dependency. Conclusion: Pla. ing Mi Gu granules in the stomachs of mice aged l2months and over (i.e in the early stage of old age) has successfully established the serum pharmacologi cal method; serum containing kidney-nourishing Chinese medicine can promote increase in osteohlast-likc cells and activity of insulin-like growth factor I, moreover, the activity of insulin-like growth factor I exhibited dosage dependency ,an objective and scientific basis has been provided for the theories of "the kidney dominating the bone"and "qi promoting the formation of essence"; Mi Gu Ling serum group can stimulate increase of osteoblast-like cells and activity of insulin-like growth factor I, and so can achieve the aim of preventing kidney-osteoporosis-insufficiency.
