To study the two-way adjusting mechanism of "Heat-clearing and Toxin-relieving" in the thermoregulation nerve center of febrile rabbits, we chose the pureblood New-zealand rabbits as the experiment objects, used QingKaiLing (QKL) and JieRe XingShen (JRXS) injecta as the curative. The ET and EP induced fever models were established and the temperature curve, AT, TRJ of febrile rabbits were observed. At the same time, we also used the radioimmunoassay to determine the cAMP content in hp and csf, IL-1 content in hp, AVP content in VSA. The experiment has three parts, including the effect of "Heat-clearing and Toxin-relieving"on the changes of temperature of febrile rabbits, the positive adjusting of "Heat-clearing and Toxin-relieving"on febrile rabbits, the negative adjusting of "Heat-clearing and Toxin-relieving"on febrile rabbits. The first part: 0 QKL and JRXS injecta have no effects on the temperature of normal rabbits ( P >0. 05). OThe AT, TRI of El and EP group were higher than that of NS group (P <0. 01) . 0 QKL and JRXS injecta can lower the temperature of El and EP induced febrile rabbits (P<0. 01), this means that, according with the result of the clinic, these two injectas can treat fever. We can also infer that JRXS and QKL injecta have no obvious differences in the curative effect( P >0.05). The second part: 1 The effect of "Heat-clearing and Toxin-relieving"medicine on cAMP content in HP and CSF in febrile rabbits:0 The cAMP content in HP, CSF in NS group have no distinguished differences than that of QKL and JRXS group (P >0.05) , but lower than that of El and EP group (P< 0. 01) . 0 The cAMP content of QKL+ET group were lower than that of ET group(P <0.01). And the cAMP content in HP and CSF were paralleledwith the changes of temperature separately(r1=0.904,P<0.05; r2=0.898, P<0.05).0 The cAMP content of QKL+EP group were lower than that of EP group(P <0.01). The cAMP content in HP and CSF were paralleled with the changes of temperature separately (.z-=0. 852, P< 0. 05; r2=0. 861,P<0. 05). The CAMP content of JRXS-I-ET group were lower than that of ET group(P <0.01). The cAMP content in HP and CSF were paralleled with the changes of temperature separately(r1=0. 918, P<0. 05; r2=0.926, P<0.05). The cAMP content of SRXS+EP group were lower than that of B" group(P <0.01). The cAMP content inHPandCSFwere paralleledwith the changes of temperature separately(r1=0. 756,P< 0. 05; r2=0.755, P<0. 05). 2 The effect of "Heat-clearing and Toxin-relieving"medicine on IL梚 content in HP in febrile rabbits: The IL content in HP in NS group have no obvious differences than that of QKL and J XS group (P>0.05) . but lower than that of El and EP group (P< 0. 01) . The IL content of QKL+ET group were lower than that of El group(P <0.01). And the IL-1_β content in HP were paralleled with the changes of temperature separately(t 0.870, P<0.01).The IL-1_β content of QKL+EP group were lower than that of EP group (P <0.01). The IL-1_β content in HP were paralleled with the changes of temperature separately(r=0.810, P<0.0l).TheAT, TRI1 and IL-1_β content of JRXS+ET group were lower than that of El group (P <0. 01). The IL-1_β content in HP were paralleled with the changes of temperature separately (r= 0.868, P <0.05).TheAT, TRI1 and JL-1_β content of JRXS+EP group were lower than that of EP group(P <0.01).
