Qi Circulation Decoction Functional The Ejaculatory Clinical Research

Purpose: To evaluate curative effect of the Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots on ejaculatory incompetenceMaterials and methods:30 cases with functionally ejaculatory incompetence selected according to the criterion for diagnosis and being brought into the topic fell into 15 cases in treatment group A to be under treatment with the Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots and 15 cases in control group B to be under treatment with Chinese Thorowax Root Powder to Soothe the Depressed Liver. Both of them were under treatment for 4 weeks. All of the cases selected were measured before and after the treatment by use of Haisheng brand of neural potential instrument NDI-2000F (developed by Navy Shanghai Medical Research Institute, 6~12Hz). By contrast with normal person, both pudendal nerve excitation conduction time and velocity of the patients with functionally ejaculatory incompetence were measured, and the pudendal sensory fibers and pudendal motor fibers of mixed nerve were respectively measured to evaluate their symptoms and physical signs according to symptom scores in the Western medicine and the criteria for evaluation of curative effect in the traditional Chinese medicine so as to contrast the curative effects.Results:1. Total effective rate in treatment group A with the Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots is higher than that in control group B with Chinese Thorowax Root Powder to Soothe the Depressed Liver; however, the difference is not obvious (P>0.05);2. Total apparently effective rate in treatment group A with the Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots is higher than that in control group B with Chinese Thorowax Root Powder to Soothe the Depressed Liver, and the difference is obvious (P<0.01); and 3. The Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots can increase the conduction velocity of both pudendal sensory fibers and motor fibers of mixed nerve and shorten the conduction time.Conclusion:1. The Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots can increase the quality of sexual life and increase the ability to ejaculate; and2. The Decoction to Regulate Qi and Absorb Clots is an effective prescription to cure functionally ejaculatory incompetence.
