Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of the child pneumonia using externalapplication on chest, and investigate the age differences , to compare skinsecurity ,patient compliance and degree of satisfaction of paterfamilias of thedifferent dosage forms .Method:this study is divided into three parts, the first and second parts, useof willingness to random, continuous digital method, from November 20, 2009 ,the children 0f pneumonia in hospital of Liaoning University of TraditionalChinese Medicine were assigned into the within group, external treatment group,Fuxiong cataplasm group and Fuxiong plaster group. Every group have 20 cases.Thewithin group use basic trestment and fuxiong cataplasm, external treatmentgroup use basic trestment and fuxiong plaster, Fuxiong cataplasm group usewithin trestment and Fuxiong cataplasm, Fuxiong plaster group use withintrestment and Fuxiong plaster. A course of treatment have 7 days. In the end, observe the clinical effects and the lost time of the main symptoms and pulmonaryrales of the 3 groups in the front and the 2 groups in the end, observe the skinsecurity ,patient compliance and degree of satisfaction of paterfamilias of theFuxiong cataplasm group and Fuxiong plaster group. The third part, bring in allthe children of pneumonia use the treatment of the Fuxiong cataplasm group andFuxiong plaster group from November 1, 2009 to March 31,2010.Every group devidedinto three group by age <3ages,~7ages,~14ages. In the end, observe the clinicaleffects and the lost time of the main symptoms and pulmonary rales of every ageof every group.Results:1.The clinical effects and the lost time of cough and pulmonary rales in theFuxiong cataplasm group were better than in the within group and externaltreatment group,p<0.05,have statistically significant difference. 2. The clinical effects ,the lost time of cough ,skin security and the degreeof satisfaction of paterfamilias in the Fuxiong cataplasm group were better thanin the Fuxiong plaster group. p<0.05,have statistically significantdifference. The patient compliance, P>0.05,have no significant diggerence.3.The clinical effects in <3ages was better than in ~7ages and ~14ages,p<0.05,have statistically significant difference. The clinical effects in thewithin group, the clinical effects and the lost time of the main symptoms andpulmonary rales in every age of every group, p>0.05,have no significantdiggerence.Conclusions:1.The clinical effects and the lost time of cough and pulmonary rales in theFuxiong cataplasm group were better than in the within group and externaltreatment group .2.The clinical effects ,the lost time of cough ,skin security and the degreeof satisfaction of paterfamilias in the Fuxiong cataplasm group were better thanin the Fuxiong plaster group. The patient compliance in the Fuxiong plastergroup was good.3.The clinical effects in <3ages was better than in ~7ages and~14ages,however,this conclusion needs better designed tests of further studyto determine.
