In china, the CCP always pay a lot attention to the problem of countryside medical treatment, and find a road of Rural Corporation Medical System (RCM) with Chinese characteristics. Make an investigation of the practice of RCM, summary the experiences and take lessons from history contribute to the practice of today's new RCM system, which could contribute to the solution of Chinese countryside problems, agriculture problems and farmers problems, and also helpful for the construction of socialist harmonious society.This article investigates questions mainly from the historical angle, under the big background of history from the founding of the PRC to the end of the " Cultural Revolution ". The author tries to analyze the files contained by JISHAN Archives in SHANXI Province to study the practices of RCM during 1949 to 1976 in JISHAN County and recover the scene from the files. The study of its achievements and lessons could contribute to the study of traditional RCM with some directly data and cases, either contribute to the practice of new RCM some experiences.There are three parts in this article. The first part draws by the history clues to present the process of the RCM during 1949-1976 in JISHAN County; The second part try to analyze four important parts during the practice of RCM, There are "prevention" general principle,the funding problem,the doctor in Grass-roots unit and the Chinese herbal medicine movements; The third part analyzes the achievements and lessons under the historical and reality backgrounds and tries to finger out the suggestions we should take during the practice of new RCM.This article thinks that before the end of the "Cultural Revolution" the rural cooperatives medical system alleviates the condition of the lack of clothes and medicines in the general country sides by its unique form in the very great degree, including many experiences that we can extract today. Simultaneously we should also see the declining factors in the future at the same time. All this study has the purpose to provide some examples to the practice of new RCM System.
