In the ancient literature of traditional Chinese medicine without a independent chapter of Xiao chuan they usually discuss Xiao chuan in the chapter of Shang qi, Ni qi, Ke sou and etc. Based on Xiao chuan of the traditional Chinese medicine and the bronchus asthma in modern medicine, through researching the ancient literature of traditional Chinese medicine and contemporary literature of combination of Chinese and western medicine research progress, make a review of pediatric asthma in this paper.Modern medicine for pediatric asthma research think its incidence of related factors, there are genetic factors, pregnant and born related factors, gender, environmental factors, diet, infection factors and other etc. Pathogenesis of asthma is complex, basically includes chronic airway inflammation, airflow limitation and airway hyperresponsiveness etc. In the deep research on the basis of traditional Chinese medicine classics, this paper attempts to use the theory of traditional Chinese medicine especially Yin yang and five elements theory to analyze it, in order to achieve the purpose of further comprehensive understanding of asthma.
