As one of the emerging Cognitive Science, Cognitive Linguistics mainly studies language from a cognitive perspective. It emphasizes that metaphor which widely exists in our language and thought, is an important means of human thinking and the basic way of our life. Metaphor is based on embodied experiential ism and is also the basic ingredients of scientific theory building. The study firstly reviews the metaphor papers associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from perspective of literature. We found that some Professional scholars have come to realize the metaphorical characteristics in Chinese language, and have explored the concepts, language and thinking of TCM by interdisciplinary theoretical study. These foreign and domestic studies provide adequate theories and methods to research."Golden Chamber", which written by Zhang Zhong-jing in Han Dynasty, is one of the classics of TCM theory. Yellow Sweat Disease was first proposed in this book. The book also documented in details the symptoms, etiology, pathogenes is and therapy prescriptions of Yellow Sweat Disease, which inspired future generations. My Paper starts with Yellow Sweat Disease theory study from the perspective of literature, then analyzes the etiology, pathogenesis of Yellow Sweat Disease in language and cognitive by metaphor. We want to better understand the language and the essence of TCM theory. The paper is divided into four parts. The first part reviews the history origin and modern theory of the disease. We also search for as much as possible medical records as supplement from the ancient to modern books. It is found that the later doctors have different opinions on the Yellow Sweat Disease which "Golden Chamber" mentioned, so there is no standard conclusion. The second part we mainly talk about four aspects: the etiology and pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, prescription and treatment, the relationship between Yellow Sweat Disease and Moisture Disease, Calendar Section of Disease, Jaundice, and so on. Yellow Sweat Disease, which takes yellow sweat as its typical symptoms, is an independent disease that is distinguished from the three diseases above. When our spleen and stomach too weak, hot and humid interact in the skin, Yellow Sweat Disease is produced. So we can use appropriate methods of treatment and prescriptions. In the third part, we first review the historical background of conceptual metaphor, and briefly introduced the type, function, theory of conceptual metaphor, then we discuss the etiology and pathogenesis of Yellow Sweat Disease from the perspective of conceptual metaphor. In description of its cause, it used "container metaphor" and "conduct metaphor" in "real metaphor" type. The ancient people considered the human body as a container, pores in the skin as conducts. The cause of diseases was that the pathogenic factors outside the container violate the human being through conducts. Our ancestors had used means of conceptual metaphor in order to obtained knowledge of diseases. So we can make a conclusion that, the language of TCM is built on the basis of cognitive metaphor. The TCM theory is a kind of theory that formed by body perception.
