The Green Supplier Evaluation Of Electronic Corporation Considering The Risk Of Hazardous Substances

Nowadays, because of the increasingly severe environmental deterioration and the deep-rooted concept of Sustainable Development, the environmental issues challenge national economies and social harmony is drawing more and more attention from the public and the government. Policies and laws have been developed and enacted aiming at protecting the environment, especially in the electrical and electronic industry. All of this forced the electronics and electrical corporate to have explicit environmental consideration and incorporate it into its supply chain strategy and operations. Thus, the green supply chain management (GSCM) is considered as an effective tool to improve the environmental performance throughout the supply chain. Consequently, the electronics corporate must management the green suppliers to strengthen the environmental co-operation, which is necessary to reducing pollution effectively and efficiently.First, the supplier management problem of electronic corporate is discussed and analyzed based on the basic idea of green supply chain. The paper constructs the green supplier management system of electronic corporate, which contains support layer, manage layer and strategy layer. The systems will promote corporate put the environmental strategy into the supplier management activity and decision, such as the suppliers develop, suppliers risk management, suppliers motivating, and green suppliers evaluation.Then, In view of the features of green supply chain for electronic corporate, the risks of green supplier are analyzed. In particular, for the hazardous substances (HS) risk of supplier, the paper explains and analysis the hybrid strategy static game model of suppliers and manufacturers. Some useful measures and rules have been presented by using qualitative analysis to control the HS risk from the suppliers effectively.Finally, based on the study on the green procurement practices of the well-known electronics and electrical corporate, the green supplier selection evaluation index system has been established and explained considering the risk of hazardous substances. The evaluation method is also presented by using of a concentration threshold and the gray correlation analysis, which is applied in a case to demonstrate it.
