The subprime mortgage crisis originated in the United States in 2007 evolved into very severe financial crisis in 2008. This crisis affected real economy very much and soon resulted in a slow down of global economic growth. Not only developed economies such as USA, EU and Japan ran into recession, but also new economies and developing countries including"BRIC"suffered a lot from the crisis. The uncertainties increased in the international economy.Financial crisis usually affects international economic climate a lot and probably it changes the international economic status of some countries. Thus, only after we have analyzed the changes of international economic pattern and China's international economic status, have recognized the international economic climate that China is facing, we can formulate proper economic strategies with which China can achieve a great success in the fierce international economic competition.The first chapter of this thesis is an introduction about current international economic pattern, with an emphasis on the analysis of the United States. The second chapter will analyze how the financial crisis affects America's leading status and the changes of China's international economic status. The third chapter will introduce the worsening of the international economic climate that China is facing and the problems inside Chinese economy. And the last chapter will bring forward some solutions for China to cope with current crisis and to achieve further development.
