Since the reform and opening up, the development of Chinese economy has made tremendous achievement, and the overall economic level has been greatly improved. However, due to various reasons, the level of economic development between regions becomes unbalanced seriously. Since the twenty-first century, this development highlights the growing imbalance, which becomes a key constraining factor in the coordinated development of economy. Chinese ethnic minorities are important part of the Chinese nation, but the ethnic minorities'areas are generally at the lower level of economic development. Once the inter-regional development gap continued to widen, it would not be conducive to the healthy and sustained development of the national economy, and may lead to various social and ethnic problems affecting the social stability and national unity.Rapid economic development is inseparable from a large number of investment funds. In ethnic minority areas, however, due to the low income level, prominent contradictions in the dual economic structure, imperfect financial system, lagged volume and speed of capital accumulation, the total investment does not meet the demand, which would constrain the pace of local economic development. Therefore, the multi-channel financing is key to accelerate economic development in ethnic minorities'areas. The stock market is one of them. With the regulate development of Chinese stock market and the steady growth of the listed companies, investors gradually form a rational concept about investment, and the listed company performance evaluation plays an increasingly prominent role in guiding rational investors to invest in, assisting managers to strengthen the supervision and urging listed companies to strengthen internal management, etc.. For the listed companies in ethnic minorities'areas, scientific and reasonable evaluation of the performance plays an important role in identifying problems, solving problems, and promoting the development of regional capital market. Therefore, this article has certain significance both in theory and practice.In this paper, the meaning and history about the performance evaluation of listed companies is explained firstly. Then, the target system which reflects the performance will be selected by comparing the evaluation methods used in business at home and abroad. Finally, a comprehensive performance evaluation of the ethnic minorities'areas listed companies would be drawn through the method of factor analysis. The conclusion could be useful for the company's decision-makers, government departments, investors, and the study of ethnic minorities economics.
