Rmb Regionalization Studies, East Asian Monetary Cooperation

East Asia plays a decisive role in the development of world economic, however, facing the East Asian financial crisis of 1997,it has presented a routed situation, which makes us rethink the importance of East Asian Currency Cooperation that has become a hot academic study and research issue. In this paper, in-depth study on RMB regionalization in the East Asian Monetary Cooperation bases on the situation of domestic and foreign economic development in the new period , which is aslo in line with Chinese condition to strengthen financial cooperation and realize Chanese economic take-off.As a constantly regionaized currency, RMB make Chinese economic strengthhas as its strong backing,it not only has the hard conditions of coming into regionalization, but also carries the expectation that countries (areas) in the region revitalize East Asia's economy.This paper combines such research methods as qualitative,quantitative, empirical,normative and comparative analysis to analyze the realitic feasibility of RMB regionalization in East Asia.Through researching the history of monetary cooperation in East Asia,it finds that Asian monetary cooperation has been in a scattered state and hasn't bred a financial environment like the euro currency zone, which provides a new historical opportunity to regionalize RMB.And then,further analysis and research of RMB regionalization in East Asian monetary cooperation has been made,which are current situation, necessary conditions and reality feasibility. However,regionalization of RMB currency will face some challenges,and it needs to strengthen risk prevention and control so as to promote the process of RMB regionalization with a steady pace.The focus of this thesis are consist of such two parts as the economic analysis of RMB regionalization,the strategic concept and choice in the East Asian regional monetary cooperation,and both of them are discussed in the third chapter and in the fourth chapter respectively.First of all,it give a systematic analysis of the costs and benefits about RMB regionalization;then it demonstrates the economic benefits of RMB regionalization in the Cooperation through empirical analysis,drawing on the international experience of the dollar and the Euro,the pathing concept of RMB regionalization is clearly put forward; finally,it extracts strategic choice in the East Asian regional monetary cooperation,which is the creative results of this paper,referring to the path and direction of regional development of RMB.In recent years,the RMB regionalization in Asian monetary cooperation becomes international focus.With the growing economic strength of China and increased RMB's role in the world,and the related theory and practice researcg become endless. Judging From the theoretical study and practical development,the process of regionalization of RMB is speeding,I hope this study will asls give some reference value on the the early realization regionalization of RMB.
