Boston Scientific Corporation is one of the world's largest medical device companies dedicated to less-invasive medicine, offering breakthrough medical innovations for more than 30 years, delivering products and therapies that help ensure superior clinical outcomes for patients. From its humble beginnings in a small laboratory in Massachusetts, Boston Scientific has grown and then honed its core to over 25,000 people world-wide. Boston Scientific is now delivering a broad portfolio of innovative medical solutions worldwide through the Cardiology, Rhythm and Vascular Group, the Endoscopy Division and the Neuromodulation Division.The healthcare industry has recently witnessed the adoption of many new technologies that increase the efficiency of various medical treatments. Less-invasive is one of the most important developments among all such cutting-edge. The increasing demand of specialized treatment has propelled the market growth for less-invasive and many companies-especially the new entrants from developing nations-are competing to benefit out of the rapid growth of this market. The chinese government tried different ways to regulate the market order by holding national bidding, studying on limited price charge standard of single disease.Recently, Boston Scientific China is facing two difficulties. One is that other companies have launched several new products to narrowed gap of the products quality with that of Boston Scientific. BSC is gradually losing the competitive advantage of product predominance. Another is that the company control budget much more strictly and invest much less than that of other companies in China market because of the financial difficulty.Under this circumstances, the author is going to analysis the management by objectives. This article is discussing how to reach the target by objective setting, objective allocation, objective execution and objective evaluation.
