Improve The City's Comprehensive Competitiveness Of Changsha,

As one of the important city in the middle of China, Changsha has been the rapid development on initial period of reform and opening up and also provided a lot of experience for other cities development. In recent years, as the country's fully open, the pace of Changsha development slowed down in relation to initial period of reform and opening up, and the international and domestic changes in the competitive environment put forward higher requirements to Changsha Urban Development. In particular, as a major city of "two-building complex social reform pilot area", the level of Changsha's comprehensive competitiveness is the key to successful reform. In such a situation, the study of Changsha city's comprehensive competitiveness becomes necessary and important. Therefore, I hope through this research to know the city's development status and level. Furthermore, recognizing it's advantages and disadvantages in Changsha's development, as well as the opportunities and threats facing. Accordingly, search a scientific and rational strategic way and propose concrete and feasible measures and relevant policy recommendations so as to enhance the city's comprehensive competitiveness.This paper uses quantitative and qualitative analysis, theory and empirical research methods, on the basis of drawing on research results of domestic and foreign scholars. The paper constructs the evaluation index system of urban's competitiveness, selects comparing cities by cluster analysis of data, and then build the assessment model using principal component analysis method by means of SPSS statistical analysis software, for analysing the level of Changsha city's comprehensive competitiveness for all aspects. Combinded the above-mentioned quantitative analysis, Changsha have summed up the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the opportunities and challenges faced by, using the SWOT method. Finally we put forward the policy recommendations to enhance Changsha city's competitiveness for Changsha city government, leading by the Eleventh Five Year Plan of national and Hunan Province.
