What the enterprises or investors are interested in is the investment value of iron and steel industry. So how to determine the investment value of iron and steel enterprises have become difficult and hot spots in capital markets. Therefore, to survey the value when investing in the steel industry can help guide investors, who are interested in investing in the steel sector, to make the right judgments of investment value, and to help investors make reasonable investment.With the continuous development of the steel industry, many of the steel industry have achieved listing. Evenly there are a number of steel companies are seeking listing. At the same time, value investment philosophy is more and more recognized by investors. Industry analysis and studies on investment value have become a major reference for investment decisions, as a capital investment board, how to scientifically evaluate the investment value of the steel industry and risks is what investors are very concerned about.In this paper, we will treat some listed companies on China's steel industry as the research object of study and conduct comprehensive evaluation on the investment value. This paper describes not only the iron and steel industry in the development of macro-economic situation of listed companies, but analyzed the iron and steel industry in the entire national economy status. Based on the analysis of listed companies' environmental and internal factors, this paper conducted a comprehensive study of the investment value in listed iron and steel enterprise. After the 10 based on the value of financial indicators collected of 2008 Shanghai and Shenzhen 27 listed companies, we used principal component analysis method to research and explore the feasibility of investment iron and steel enterprise. We'd like to offer investors and the steel companies who are seeking listing some useful recommendations and strategic thinking on the reference.
