Corresponding to the indefinitely termination of Doha Round of WTO negotiations in July 2006 and arrested development of WTO, the regional and bilateral economic cooperation has developed rapidly. China, as a big developing country with rapid economic development rate, has also joined in the wave of regional and bilateral economic cooperation. Since China's first free trade zone agreement was signed in 2002, the number of FTA has increased to 8 and 19 countries and regions involved. Besides, China's FTA negotiations with Gulf Cooperation Council, Australia and other countries and regions are in process. Regional economic cooperation in East Asia (EAEC), the world's fastest growing region, has been accelerating in recent years. Major countries have already introduced their own FTA strategy to speed up the pace of economic cooperation. A new form of multi-level and multi-domain economic cooperation emerged In East Asia.It is certain that promoting economic cooperation with East Asia is a matter of great significance to China, and through years of development, China has made satisfactory achievements, but there are also many problems. That is: First, improve the quality of existing FTA / EPA. Second, promote the establishment of cross-strait economic cooperation framework agreement (ECFA) and the construction of western economy zone. Third, encourage sub-regional cooperation and industry cooperation. Forth, develop FTA cooperation with South Korea. And finally, push forward the construction of "10 +3" and "10 +6".
