From the 1970s, the rapid development of financial service trade is an important and main feature of global economics and financial development. The WTO has agreed on the《Agreement on Financial Services》in 1997, so the liberalization of financial service trade is an inevitable choice for every country. Since China has carried on the commitments of entering the WTO, the development of financial service trade is deeper and deeper. As a result, studying the situation of liberalization of financial service trade has its theoretical and practical meanings.This article studies the situation of liberalization of financial service trade of China from the view of financial efficiency. It elaborates the meanings, contents and characteristics firstly. At the same time, it analyzes the related meanings and impact factors of financial efficiency. On this basis, this article summarizes the development of liberalization of financial service trade in our country. Then it studies the influence of liberalization of financial service trade to financial efficiency, including financial market efficiency, financial intermediation efficiency and financial allocation efficiency. According to our country's situation, with the qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, then it studies the impacts of liberalization of financial service trade in our country. In the qualitative analysis, it uses the impact factors of liberalization of financial service trade on financial efficiency. In quantitative analysis, it mainly bases on the relationship of financial service trade and GDP data, which shows that the liberalization of financial service trade can promote the financial efficiency. Finally, combined the situation of the liberalization of financial service trade in our country, it puts forward policy recommendations about promoting the status of financial service trade liberalization in China.
